Highlights from Judges Comments from the National Classical Singer Competition:

Caroline Smith, DePauw Univ.

“….Marvelous potential; fantastic color to the voice; large instrument. Very musical….The diction is clearly articulated and the tempi and rubato are in keeping with the style. You have natural artistic abilities that make for a compelling stage presence. …It was a pleasure to watch and hear your performance. You are a fine, talented young singer with amazing potential.  Both of the selections seem wonderfully appropriate for your voice and level. My sincere congratulations to you and your teacher. Best of luck!

Comment from Pamela Thomas

“…Certainly a beautiful voice and very well produced, especially for such a young age! No question that Tal should be at the top in her age group.  She is wonderfully accomplished for her level… You are off to a wonderful career.  Find a top teacher (if you are leaving your current teacher and going to college) and keep working! …Best of luck!
